Darnit--I knew the biggest, baddest diesel would be the one BMW would slot in for us. I really would rather see the TT 4-banger for the adequate torque and better efficiency.
I can't blame them, though--the perception of diesels in the US is slowly changing, among my peers at least, but still remains fairly negative.
