Your rep? You mean a sales guy at the dealership? I'm going to my dealership *this afternoon* to speak with the sales guy that sold me our '06 325i. He told me awhile back that bmw might offer their own software upgrade for the 135 but I didn't know to ask about rear lsd's at the time.
It sounds like bmw finally realized the profit margin on performance upgrades is (likely) higher than new car sales.
Assuming the test drive goes OK, I will definitely get the 135i with a dealer installed lsd.. bmw oem software upgrade would also be a dream come true. Thanks!!!
