If anybody cares, I've driven a few PROCeded 335i cars on an autocross course. I think for autocross, a ****** might be better. Both cars I drove had a decent amount of turbo lag, and putting power down when you need it is one of the major things you need in autocross. It felt like there was almost a full second lag after pressing on the go pedal. The 335s that I've driven at autocross, that were stock mapped, seemed to be able to more quickly put the power down.

I figured that was an anomaly, but both cars did the same thing.

The added turbo-lag isn't as big of an issue on the track, but it would still be there...
