I'm just curious if anyone out there is in the same boat as me. I placed a deposit mid-summer. My dealer is saying BMW isn't accepting their orders at the moment (best interpretation is that they aren't accepting them from this dealership) but as soon as they do he will get me my production number.
My question to the fine experts of this site is if this makes any sense to you.
I don't understand how the ordering game works but it seems odd to me that some dealerships would be able to place orders and others wouldn't. (although this doesn't appear to be a high-volume dealership)
My spot in line isn't an issue. I was told I was second. Is my dealership playing games with me or is there a less shady explanation?
