I really don't think that the intake provides and performance / mechanical benefits over stock, and to be fair it's going to be a pain to remove and clean every 5k-10k miles.
But, the noise is so good that it's staying until I find a better option e.g. BMW Performance CAI (if it comes out) or the Riss Racing intake if it provides the same or better noise.
It really is fantastic for the money and was a simple decision when I found out that the Helene does not enhance the noise.
4/5 for me, only let down by the cleaning....
