I thought that the AA processor worked very well. The 335i was running Dinan and they were not happy. Oil heating issues, limp mode etc etc. Also, with the Dinan software, you can never go back to stock, short of buying a new ECU.
As for spring rates we were running 1100lb rears and I think 800 front. These are WAY too stiff for street use(this coming from a guy that has put stiff springs in every BMW sedan he has owned). I would talk to James at BimmerWorld about a good street/track spring.
