Hey im wondering if my horrible gas mileage could be attributable to a failing pump. My car yesterday the idle was fluctuating pretty noticeably at stop light then when i stepped on the gas it hesitated for about 1 second then everything was ok. Also this morning when getting on the highway i noticed the same thing when the car kicked down to a lower gear for passing the first second its almost as if it had water or something in the fuel kind of feel then all was ok. Could these be signs of a failing pump?
