Here in Germany they have a 19% MwSt tax. But when I would order stuff... and the German Zoll(customs) would get to the package first... I would have to pay about 32% of the value of the goods(invoice).
The Germans charge not only that 19% tax but some other shipping taxes too! It is total nuts.
That was before I started working with the US Army. Now everything goes to my APO and I am tax exempt.  IF you live in the EU and buy from another EU country... I think you are ok tax/customs wise. |
Thanks Dack. Just strange that in US everything almost 2x cheaper than in EU. For example Breyton GTS-r wheels in Germany it's 1300 EUR in US 1100$ I know in my country tax is 10% for customs and 21 VAT so I would have to pay 31% of tax. Just interesting would be if anybody tried to buy it like a GIFT with tax free...
