I can see the logic in the comparison on the same basis as Alik's.
What car's will show up in comparo' tests with the 1M?
Audi RS3 ( If it comes to Australia )
Audi TTRS ( extra $ )
Porsche Cayman ( A lot more $ for similar spec )
Nissan 370 Z ( if you can afford the 1M would you choose this car? )
Ford Focus RS ( boy racer - not that the 1M isn't a liittle bit BR. Okay, more than a little bit )
Mazda RX8 ( getting on a bit )
Mitsubishi Evo ( different market, ricer image. )
Subaru WRX Sti ( ditto )
HSV / Ford GT ( different market, )
Wonder if it's main rival is the 135i?
There simply aren't many small, practical, rear wheel drive, performance cars with a driver focus. The RS3 may be as close as you'll get.
