If you do not line the V-Band clamps back up properly (specifically the bolt), it may interfere with and block the wastegate actuator arm. Ask me how I know

If you install the DP's and drastically lose power, throw 30FF codes etc. Check to see if this is the reason. If the actuator arm can't move, it cant close and let the system build boost.

Dumb question.... does the actuator arm move both ways? or just toward the wastegate? My bolt is about a 1/4 inch away for the actuator arm and I am wondering, to make the bolt keep the acutator from moving, wouldn't you almost have to push it out of the way, then put in the bolt, and watch it slam back into the bolt when you were done? Or, does the actuaor move in two directions, starting from the the start postion ( car is parked and not running)?? I am under boost is 16+ applications and I am wondering if that arm has to move forward and backwards too?? If so, then my bolt is blocking the arm from push forward any more than it is when the car is parked and not running?
