1M definitely outclasses the 370Z for sure and the Nismo edition doesn't make that much of a difference, but price wise a 370Z is pretty much in line or maybe even cheaper than a standard 135i. Base 370Z starts just over 30k and only touches close to 40k MSRP with sports, premium AND nav. Nismo is right at 40k retail. A 370Z with just sports + premium (what I'd get) is several thousand less than a similarly optioned 135i, though that comparison is of course arguable depending on the value you place on things like directional headlights.

370Z is an awesome car. Looked at one. Just wasn't quite practical enough for me in Indiana weather and just overall practicality. It is definitely faster than a normal 1er due to its superior suspension setup, low CG, bigger standard tire package, etc. It's a sports car from the ground up, while the 1er is a sports coupe with a trunk, rear seats, the ability to back out of a parking spot without praying no one will hit you, etc.

Just another penis waving competition here.
