correct. that is why i did not want to get into it because i (as I said) am not qualified to make any comments of that nature. I don't want to slam something based on hearsay. I just want to be safe with my LEASED car.
thanks for all of the input. I can see that this is going to take more research and I still will be weighing the testamony of other posters. 8^) That's all we have to go by is our joint experiences.
BTW: I wish that I could have discovered the
"french horn" affect of my muffler delete,
BEFORE I bought a used one and installed it!
I had to buy a steel tube and have it cut and welded into the pipes to get rid of the most annoying sound. I ended up paying more than if I bought a new one. Hopefully I will not get frakked on the tune.
