As you indicated my quote in bold I checked the
urban dictionary meaning of "OK guy" ...and, unfortunately, it turns out that the slang meaning is totally the opposite of the compliment I intended. I meant a good chap. I picked it up from the
hypersleep scene in the 'Aliens' movie, where a guy comforts Ripley in saying "I'm really an OK guy".
