the extra savings are coming from the fact that you're negotiating up from the wholesale european delivery price. Let's assume that the invoice ED price is 30k, then people usually add $1250-1500 over the invoice and that's the final price. Also, if you lease the car, the lease payment will be based on the ED invoice price AND the US MSRP and not the ED MSRP, so that will save you some more money.
