I strongly advise getting the M Sport (previously, just Sport) package. As has been said in many other threads, it's worth it for the seats alone. I think the ride is plenty comfortable and I drive daily into Boston. In fact, now that the car has almost 60,000 miles, things have softened up too much and I will change to M3 front suspension, M3 rear subframe bushings and Koni FSD shocks. Good luck with whatever you decide.
