mmm good question when my 1M wheels wouldn't fit without rubbing I played around with the et's on my new rims to get the fitment I needed whilst retaining the 135i hubs. I actually came in at least 5mm's each side to give me a buffer for wider than advertised tyre sizes. So based on what you have calculated I think the 10mm is overstated but unsure if it is a calculated figure or close enough?
