on a 1er with a oem sway up front we were simulating slaloms and this car was scrubbin up front with 255 star specs and 3 degrees camber. There is only one reason bmw did not put the 26.5 mm bar in this car..........M3

I really don't get that.
The 1 and the M3 are not competition for each in the market what so ever.
The 3 series is the base for the M3, and it's sport suspension is better sorted, and I don't think it takes anything away from the M3, especially sales, if that is what you are alluding too. The 1 series is even further removed from any competition for the M3.
