SO, One of my big upgrades planned for this off-season is an LSD. Was looking an an Mfactory 2.56 from syncrotech for ~$2700. Saw options on diffsonline but much pricier. Right now I am looking at this:

in the E90 for sale section. OS Giken large pumpkin 3.46 with 10k miles. Biggest issue I think is the large change in drive ratio. I am smart enough to understand what that means on paper...what I don't fully understand is how that will translate to the track or of I'll blow up my DCT or something (
). Anyway...looks like I could save a lot of money getting a highly reputable clutch-type LSD vice a helical...but...I need some track rat advice here! TIA.
