Hey fellow bimmer peeps, My head has been spinning over this code
. It always pops up on cold start, the car will start up, rev to 1rpm(as normal) then all of a sudden jump to 1600rpm. Recently I did some research on how to fix it. First I replaced both of Camshaft sensors, it worked for a day but then came back. Then changed my oil and filter, Seemed to help a bit with the engine code not frequently popping up but still the SES light pops up time to time
. My mechanic told me its because I dont change my oil frequently enough(I usually change my oil every 8k miles but he says 5k is the way to go). Anyone have any experience on this? Thanks everyone!
