BMW Leipzig plant will close down from Dec, 24th to Jan, 22nd
Hey Guys,
I just got an email back from Leipzig Werk. While they can not tell me of their future model plans (ie when the 1M will finish production and the life span of the e82/e88 series)... they did give me the dates that the factory will be closed for durring Christmas winter break. Its longer than I thought.
Here is what they wrote...
The BMW Leipzig plant will close down from Dec, 24th to Jan, 22nd as we prepare for the BMW 1 Series 5door hatch (F20).
The F20 production in Leipzig will start in March 2012.
