I also just did an M3 rear bar like spidertri. I was going M3 rear arms at the same time. I can't imagine getting a new, bigger, bar in with those arms in place. I lowered the subframe but didn't disconnect any brake lines. It's a pain to fish the new one through, but it can be done.
