I can't say I remember really noticing this problem when stock. The CDV problem I definitely noticed. I will say now, with 3Stage Manifold and AA tune there is no problem at all, response is instant. By the way, a set of Bimmerworld Aluminum pedals is a great help with heel / toe. Gas pedal is extended about 1/4" in width, makes for more positive contact on the blip which could actually be part of the problem.
