People didn't have cars big enough to bring big chairs, a giant umbrella, a giant cooler, multiple beach games, a beach cart, or any of that stuff. If you believe that's how people lived in the 20s you're wrong about the 1920s!!

Oh and IF they took umbrellas they took an ordinary umbrella! Here's a photo of a beach in California in the 1920s. No coolers. No chairs. Minimal umbrellas
