You might run into issues because the systems were only coded for E90s, so they come to expect an E90-tuned DSC unit. The car being physically smaller than the system thinks may pose an issue. Don't quote me on this though, purely speculation.

I don't think it would be an issue. You may have to fool some modules into thinking they're an E90 but that isn't rocket surgery.
