I have had this same issue, both before and after my AA headers, tune, exhaust, etc. I have had my local Dealer check it out with no pending codes.
In addition to the rough idle my engine has also died when cruising to a stop. Still confused at what it is. At the moment, my best guess is MAP sensor (need to clean) or the contact between the spark plug and the coil pack boot (saw this as a possible solution on the e92 forum.
Should note that I am manual, if that matters
