Pretty much what I expected. There aren't many new cars available today that can match the excitement of the 1 series without spending some serious cash.
I think the Miata and BRZ/GT-86 equal the fun factor but lose out as daily drivers. Unless something dramatically special arrives (2nd gen Toybaru, Z replacement, new S2000), I'll be sticking with my 128i for many years to come.
