For a
1M you need an
18 inch wheel to clear the front brakes. My steel wheel is a 17 inch dia - min wheel size needed to clear 135i front brakes. My steel 17" is from an e46 330i or e46 M3, 7jx17 wheel.
So you need an 18" steelie... which I do not think is made for BMW's. ? I think your best bet would be to order an 18" alloy from BMW or an aftermarket wheel in that size.
