ALL US cars be it a 128i or a 135i have a
FWM3. That is WHY the LCI lights(Blackine's, included!) are Plug and Play(PnP).
Like I said before...
an EU spec 125i does NOT have a FWM3, but rather a FWM1 or FWM2 module.
That is why you need the FWM3 module to power up the LED tubes(dim and glow them, when locking the car).
So... your 125i needs to have a FWM3 IF you want to install LCI Blacklines. AND
if your car was built before Sept 2009... you will need that harness as well. I don't know why... but that is what the ETK(electronic teile/parts katalog) says.
