He says that the turbos themselves probably won't need replacement. It has been his experience that the wastegates are the failure point. He said that he will look at the turbos to be sure but if it was his car he would only do the wastegates.

Whats the cost of only doing wastegates? But yes, I think the wastegates are also a known pain-point.
