Yes, it is officially. BMW says only the Performance SSK will fit N54, 135i's. The N55 and 1M's share a new transmission that has different shift linkage.
I said all along I thought just the Perf shift lever would give you 80% of the SSK feel and would definitely fit N55's trans. I just took some ballsy guys to go ahead and "test fit" it to their 1M's.
So we know it works and its a cheap solution for a SSK.
