I definitely don't want anything smaller than stock. 245-255 in the rear should be fine for me. I do enjoy taking a turn quickly hear and there and accelerating quickly from a stop. However, I tend to drive calmly for the most part. I guess I'm mostly concerned with tire width options at 8' instead of 8.5/9.5.

245 on a ET35 wheel will probably rub in the front unless you roll your fenders. I wouldn't worry too much about the 8" wheel width; you may lose a little bit of transient response but it should be fine for a daily driver
