Cayman S would be another possibility.
Not many other cars interest me; the current BMWs feel too disconnected/videogame-y. The 128i strikes the perfect balance for me in terms of fun, useability and (relatively) cheap maintenance, particularly on expendable items for the track.

+1 however i may look at some N54 135is' if i can not find someone to properly tune that 125i of mine, one would think that Germany has some knowledgeable people/tuners for NA engines, sadly only the M cars so (S50/52/54/65 engines), non M engines here....not much.
