That is what happened to the bottles of wine I purchased long ago that appreciated to ridiculous values; I sold them to someone even dumber than myself, and bought a whole bunch of really good wine that I actually have drunk.

Personally, I'd still drive it. Agreed upon value with my insurance carrier and enjoy the drive. These are material items, they exist for me, not the other way around. If they are rare and increase in value, all the better. I will not let it if affect my enjoyment, unless for the better.
