So I bought a 2010 navigation DVD from this ad:

I have a 2008 135i and I popped it in the DVD drive. It said shut the system down and turn it on in 5 minutes. Did that, and tested it out for some different locations. So it seems like places that are close to my location work fine, but for further away locations it doesn't show the full route list! For example, I live in New York and if I put in a destination in New Jersey, it will tell me how to get to approximately the first highway I need to take and the route list will end there. I'm not sure if once I reach the last road it tells me to take it will then add more to the list? I haven't used to to go to a far destination yet but I know that it is supposed to show the full route list. Is something wrong with the DVD?
