It gets better with miles. At first, the shifter is really tight. Many people have said it takes 10K miles before it starts to feel silky. My car has about 12K on it now. Even that said, my 1st/2nd shifts feel a bit notchy still. BUT WAY better than when it was brand new!
Another thing.... have you done the CDV mod? You really should. Go look under the
DIY CDV delete for it.
