I sent another e-mail as to when the "year 1 of the 1" ends, and this is the response I got:

"Thank you for contacting BMW of North America, LLC regarding the status of your commemorative Year One of the One BMW 135i Convertible. The Year One of the One 1 Series will build through the end of February 2009."
