Not so sure about this.
Unladen weight of the E46M3 is 3415lbs as per BMW website.
Official weight of the 1M is 1570kg (3454lbs) w/gas, luggage, driver. Lets be super conservative and say this adds 150lbs. Certainly puts the 1Ms unladen weight under then that of the E46.
