It was a little bit more but, within walking distance of Marrien Platz and the Brau Haus. Parking was extra, I think around 12 Euro overnight in a secured underground garage.
I think I spent around 120 euro (without VAT) for a single room which for downtown Munich is pretty good.
The neighborhood was not the greatest. There seemed to be alot of immigrants especially out enjoying the local night life. But, keep to yourself, blend in & there were no problems. The hotel was tough to find, I had to drive around the block 2x before I saw the Marriott sign and parking garage.
I liken Mariott to Volkswagen of older times. You paid a little bit more for a little bit more car compared to the competition.
It's about a 10 min drive to the Welt.
