Because it will require F2x rims to work. 18" would be a cosy fit and only certain wheels would fit.
Stock E8x wheels will not fit.
It would also throw the brake bias way off. You'd need to balance it with some shit pads.
If it was me, i wouldn't go larger than the 340mm F30 335i/340i front brakes.
