Thanks guys!
It was my spring break this past week, and my friends were off in Colorado skiing, or across the state doing whatever. I took the time to pretty up the car again.
Tried doing some paint touch-up and giving everything a nice polish. Did not turn out that great.
I used this guide to a T (besides mixing the clear with the base because I have metallic paint). That man is an artist - my base coat went on no problem, but I definitely messed up the clear. Gonna have to wet sand it smooth. Oh well - it doesn't look any worse than when I started!
Gave it a thorough wash and wax. Looks great, but I also got to see how many imperfections the paint has (mainly rock chips - the front bumper is shredded). Hard to be a perfectionist when this is my daily I drive on the highway constantly
. Cleaned the INSIDE of the wheel too (next pic is before I did that lol) - damn BMW brake pads dusting it up constantly.
Also painted my calipers blue lol. Looks better in person - the blue isn't that dark. Yes I did it the lazy way, but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I just wanted it to be subtle and didn't feel like tearing apart the brake system for it. I'll probably touch it up when it's time to do pads.
