There are some houses here with balconies and in my case it is more of a problem of budget. As for the back of the house....winters!
If I had such a large area dedicated solely to windows the house would be annoyingly cold for about 4.5 months out of the year.
Maybe when I retire I can move to a much more accommodating climate that will allow for that.
That is a gorgeous house! I'll show it to my fiancè.
