As a car lover I feel people should do whatever they want with their car to customize it. It's part of the hobby and passion. I see a lot of stuff people do to their cars and even though I don't like it personally it's still cool. This falls in that category for me. It's cool someone did it but yeah I think they detract more than they add just in case the op cares what we think about it. If not good for you too for showing your passion.
