The dates are set:
- Aug 30 to Sep 2: pre-tour (small group venturing the Alps and South Germany);
- Sep 2 to 4: teaming up on Friday in South Germany and further heading South to the Dolomites (335 km scheduled) + Saturday: all day out in the awesome Dolomites (250 km scheduled) + Sunday: drive back home between breakfast and noon.
Provisional itineraries already exist, but it's deemed cautious not to disclose those publicly at this stage (we want nothing adverse to happen to anyone's car overnight, as well as during the day, of course).
As during previous editions, apart from being great, the itineraries allow some flexibility: can be modified last minute and even when the group is already
en route (mountain weather can be unpredictable + all drivers have different skills and experience; for your proper safety, never underestimate fatigue kicking in). Hence, shortcuts are foreseen. Nothing is imposed: proposals are made and the group decides.
