I've had the UUC for a couple of months now and have no complaints whatsoever. I find it smooth and natural feeling. The install is easier than the BMWP kit because you don't have to remove the carrier. I have an N54 so my throws were pretty long there was a very noticeable change in shift throw but not really much in added effort. Note I also did the DSSR so I don't know how it feels without it.
