Read my reply above, he is partially right, but you are both looking at it from one perspective, the ENGINE alone.
The 1M is a very special case that will most likely never happen again, it is in my eyes a proper M car indeed, but focusing on "handling and balance" or just "the engine" alone is not enough, as i said above as a PACKAGE it worked out to be an amazing product.
