It is slightly different with LEDs, essentially what you see is a 7k temp for the leds which is about 8k hid. My hids are the 8k but the seem much whiter then other 8k's that I have seen. I don't have a picture of the white AE's but maybe when I am there tomorrow I can snag a picture of something similar.
