yes they are. this material that dusts so much is actually very good for your rotors. it is smoother and less abrasive than your typical pad, meaning it "massages" your rotors are you brake and makes them nice and shiny. these brakes are better than your typical Honda/Mazda stuff regardless if you drive aggressively or conservatively. so don't whine and keep the front wheels clean.
