Yup, since day 1 the rain sensing feature hasn't worked as I would like it to. Light rain or a mist of water (like passing a big rig) and the wipers will go to warp speed while I'm driving. If it is goes from a drizzle to heavy rain it won't do anything except swipe ever so often while I'm driving. I wish they wouldn't force features on cars that people don't want, that's why their are options. I have a lot of time using the wipers as in WA this is the time of the year for all types of rain; misty to heavy but with light rain being the norm.
It seems it likes and works on the smaller particle's of water as opposed to the heavy, big drops of water. I guess next time I go to the dealer I'll ask for a recal on the system and see if that works.
