actually, I thought that the more you press the gas the more spool up the turbo resulting in better gas milage (to an extent of course!)? it was that way with the STi (or at least to a point). If I remained in S# mode (the most that uses turbo the MOST) I would always end up with better gas milage. If I used I mode (Intelligent; meaning uses less turbo...to result in better gas milage), I actually got worse gas milage. Oh well. I'm still learning the car and am still in my break-in...ahem..."run-in" period.
