There's definitely an increase in power in the midrange with putting on a dp without a tune. Its not arguable like an intake on our cars, there's definitive proof in dyno sheets all over the place. I got one mostly for the increase sound from the exhaust, but there was a very noticeable increase in power driving on the street. And on track my car increased 4-5 mph trap speed on the straights. Aside from the CEL, there are no downsides. To fix the cell you can get the burgertuning Can tool to block it. Thats what I run.
